TENT house for contemporary circus

My name is Cecilia Rosso and I am from Monale (1996, IT). I studied at Cirko Vertigo in Grugliasco from 2015 to 2017 and then at the Academy of Circus and Performance Art in Tilburg. During my studies, I specialised in aerial straps and hair hanging. In 2021, I graduated and was nominated for the Jacques de Leeuw Prize and the BNG Bank Circus Prize. That same year marked the start of my first collaboration with TENT as Maker for a Day.

In 2022, I founded the collective Profondo Rosso, where I am a director and performer. Together with Jakob Lohmann, RaphaĆ«l Albanese and Inge den Adel, we make performances and installations that engage the audience and create a deeper connection with the performer.

During Maker for a Week's residency week, we will further explore the relationship between our new creation (Frammenti#2 - working title) and the audience. We would like to connect with interested spectators and invite them to explore a movable gantry crane. Follow us and stay tuned if you are interested in the project and want to participate in the research.
